The BP 380 solar module is designed to provide cost-effective power for DC loads with moderate energy requirements. This model replaces the BP 380U. With 36 (125mm x 125mm) in a 4x9 matrix connected in series, the BP 380 charges 12V batteries (or multiples of 12V) efficiently in virtually any climate. Typical applications include remote telemetry, instrumentation systems, radio repeaters, security sensors, water pumps, marine applications and land-based aids to navigation. The IntegraBus™ technology includes Schottky by-pass diodes integrated into the printed circuit bus. The Universal Frame model we carry has a junction box with a 6-terminal connection block; IP 65, accepts PG 13.5, M20, 1/2" conduit or cable fittings accepting 6-12mm diameter cable. Optionally, the junction box may also be fitted with blocking and bypass diodes. The terminals accept 2.5 to 10mm (8 to 14 AWG) wire. The frame is very rugged composed of anodized aluminum. The 1/8" thick tempered glass face will withstand a 1 inch hailstone traveling at 52MPH. The raintight (IP65 Rated) junction box of the BP 380 enables most system array connections (putting modules in series or parallel) to be made right in the junction box. BP
