13.86 KW Custom Solar Carport System

 SES provided this 13.86 kW system to Shawn Thoman Woodworks in 2017. A custom carport structure was designed to support the IronRidge XR Rails and Solaria Solar Panels. The solar panels were fitted with SolarEdge Optimizers and fed into a SolarEdge SE11400A-US inverter. Energy harvest has been measured at 61 kWh/day.

Components supplied by Solar Electric Supply include:

• Solaria PowerXT-330R 330 watt all-black high-performance monocrystalline modules
• SolarEdge SE-11400A-US 1-Ph, Grid Tied Inverter, 11400W, 208/240Vac, 60 Hz
• Solaredge P370 Optimizers, Add-On Box for one high-performance module, MC4-compatible In, MC4-compatible Out, 36" PV wire, UL 1000VDC
• Array Wiring and Hardware: Solar string output cables, and tin-plated copper module and rail ground lug
• IronRidge XR Rails Roof Mounting System mounted to a custom carport shade structure
