Single Line Electrical drawings are required by most Utilities for the interconnection agreement and building departments for your solar permit.
To get started, send us your site plan or solar module placement drawing. We'll provide you with a quote and material list for the complete system. You can also obtain electrical schematics from our design partner for a fee. In some jurisdictions, a simple site plan and an electrical schematic are sufficient for obtaining all necessary approvals.
Grid Tie & Storage Schematics Include:
- Conductor and conduit schedule with Electrical Calculations
- Customization options with your company logo and/or site address

Full Solar Permit Plan Sets and State Stamped Engineering Available!
Permit Plan Sets are designed to assist in obtaining your permit and interconnection agreement from your building department and utility. Recommended for new contractors and DIY installers, even if not required by your jurisdiction. Our Design Partners offer competitive fees for these services, with quotes based on your specific project type. Optional PE stamps are also available if required by your building department.
To get started, create a site plan or solar module placement drawing. Once you have this drawing, you can submit it to one of our Design Partners, who will provide you with a complete set of plans for your solar project.
Plan Sets Include the Following:
- Cover Page with Aerial Photo
- Site Plan with property map showing solar array location, property line setback, septic/leech field, conduit run, and main service panel or utility drop
- Complete project material list
- Electrical Plan and Wiring Schematic with conductor and conduit/wire schedule
- Structural Details (Rafter and solar mounting attachment detail for roof-mounted systems, or Racking Plan with hole foundation location and spacing for ground-mounted systems)
