Primo Smart Grid Ready The transformerless, single-phase Fronius Primo with up to 9.995 kW output is the ideal solar inverter for residential applications wth a 208/240 grid connection. The Fronius Primo has several integrated features that set it apart from competitors including dual powerpoint trackers, high system voltage, a wide input voltage range.

Several industry-leading additions come standard with the Fronius Primo including Wi-Fi and SunSpec Modbus interfaces for seamless monitoring and datalogging, field proven Arc Fault Circuit Interruption (AFCI), and Fronius’ free online and mobile monitoring platform Fronius Solar.web. The Fronius Primo is NEC 2014 compliant and ready for codes and standards of the future.

The sleek design is equipped with the SnapINverter hinge mounting system which allows for lightweight, secure and convenient installation. The SnapINverter has many standard features, making it convenient and "one-stop shop" for a high quality inverter. The hinge mounting system and lightweight inverter itself creates a streamlined installation process that can be done in under 15 minutes.

Revenue Grade Meter has never been easier and more affordable. Introducing the first CSA certified residential inverter which provides standard revenue grade meter production right out of the box. The Fronius Primo with the Revenue Grade Meter option measures and exports production data that is compliant with ANSI C12.1 accuracy standards.

Save time, money and planning on your revenue grade meter installations. Since everything is integrated into the inverter‘s internal circuits, there is no need to install a meter, socket, conduit, power or communications. Simply install the Fronius Primo with the Revenue Grade Meter (RGM) option.

Production data can be exported via Fronius Solar.web monitoring, over SunSpec Modbus or sent directly to third party servers. Revenue Grade production data is required for certain state and federal residential PV rebate programs such as Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs) and Performance Based Incentives (PBIs). In order to qualify for these incentive programs PV production data must be measured and reported within a specific accuracy.

The Fronius Primo is the first complete inverter lineup of the NEC 2014 compliant AFCI protected inverters in the United States. With integrated Fronius MIX™ Technology and wide voltage windows are the perfect match for your residential solar system design.

	Arc Fault Circuit Interruption (AFCI) The Fronius Primo10.0-1 is compliant with NEC 2014 AFCI requirements. Arc fault circuit interrupters, or AFCIs, are devices that provide a higher level of protection by detecting hazardous arcing conditions and shutting down the electricity before a fire can start. To comply with the new National Electrical Code® (NEC) requirements, the Fronius Primo inverter line has proprietary built-in arc fault circuit interruption (AFCI) to detect and extinguish an arc fault, and can notify the system operator that the incident occurred.
	HF transformer switchover Fronius transformer inverters use a high-frequency (HF) transformer. The automatic transformer switchover facility produces three efficiency peaks. The result: a constant level of efficiency across the entire input voltage range, resulting in higher yields. Other advantages of HF transformer technology are the compact, lightweight design, a high level of efficiency and safety as a result of the electrical isolation.
	PC board replacement The foundation of the unique PC board replacement is laid as we develop our inverters, as PC boards can only be replaced if the device has been designed accordingly. This enables our Fronius Service Partners to provide the fastest inverter servicing on the market.
	Integrated WiFi interface Simple, user-friendly system monitoring is very important in Fronius Primo inverters. With the Fronius Datamanager, the WiFi interface is found in the inverter itself. The inverter is connected to the internet without additional cabling and grants you the perfect overview of how the PV system is operating.
	Smart Grid Ready Fronius Primo inverters are ready for the Smart Grid. It is optimally equipped to meet the technical requirements of modern utility grids. A series of smart functions, known as Advanced Grid Features, are built into every Primo inverter. These include a number of control functions for optimum feed-in of reactive power and effective power. These functions are designed to enable stable grid operation even when the PV system density is very high and to prevent unwanted interruptions to feed-in and associated yield losses. Fronius inverters therefore help to guarantee the yield of any home solar system.
