A RESU3.3 ESS can store surplus energy generated from a home rooftop's solar panels for use when needed. When the sun has set, energy demand is high, or there is a black-out, you can use the energy stored in your ESS to meet your energy needs at no extra cost. Unlike a grid-tied solar system which automatically switches off, a battery storage system allows you to keep generating and consuming energy when the grid goes down. In addition, an ESS helps you pursue the goal of energy self-consumption and ultimately energy-independence.

Compact Size & Easy Installation

The compact and lightweight nature of the RESU is world-class. It is designed to allow easy wall-mounted or floor-standing installation for both indoor and outdoor applications. The inverter connections have also been simplified, reducing installation time and costs.

Powerful Performance

The RESU3.3 features a continuous power output of 2.9kWh and DC round-trip efficiency (95%). LG Chem’s L&S (Lamination & Stacking) technology provides durability ensuring 80% of capacity retention after 10 years.

RESU Plus Option for Expandibility

RESU Plus is an expansion kit specially designed for 48V models of the latest RESU series which allows up to 2 battery units. With the RESU Plus, all 48V models can be “cross-connected” with another 48V unit of any capacity. This allows the RESU3.3 to offer energy storage capacities from 3.3kWh to 13.1kWh.

SGIP Program

Residential ESS customers may be able to take advantage of the California Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP). The SGIP provides incentives for residential behind-the-meter energy storage systems up to 10kW.

Warranty of Performance

LGC warrants that the battery retains at least 80% of Nominal Energy for 7 years after the date of invoice and at least 60% of Nominal Energy for 10 years after under proper conditions of the use during the Term of Performance Warranty. Please contact us for details.
