  Studies on Buried Contact, PERL, SP technologies, as well as thin film technologies
• January 2008 : Strategic R&D on Si-based photovoltaics (5 inch wafer based)
• September 2009 : Full scale R&D Line set up, 35MW capacity, 6 inch wafer based
• April 2010 : Obtained certifications (UL, CEC, IEC certifications)
• April 2010 : Supplied first power plant in Korea (Dangjin, 1MW)
• May 2010 Announced investment of $ 5.5 billion by 2020 in photovoltaics business.
