The corner keys feature a new shape that helps protect the glass. A scalloped indentation provides integrated water drainage.
The Solarworld Sunmodule Plus SW 300 Mono 5BB features a more efficient 5-busbar design allowing current to flow more freely through the solar module. A newly redesigned frame features a corner key that reduces the impact of scratches on the frame. This corner has a scalloped indentation for integrated drainage from the front side of the module.
The Sunmodule Mono SW 300 5BB is made in SolarWorld's high-tech facility in the USA. They carry out more tests on these Sunmodules than required by international standards meeting at least 3 times IEC requirements. This ensures high reliability and the ability to offer a positive power tolerance on all Sunmodule Plus monocrystalline solar panels.

With a maximum load capacity of up to 8500 Pa (178 psf), SolarWorld Sunmodules are designed to withstand heavy accumulations of snow and ice.
Plus Sorting Certified
Plus‑Sorting guarantees highest system efficiency. SolarWorld only delivers modules that have greater than or equal to the nameplate rated power. The positive power tolerance guarantees utmost system efficiency. Only modules achieving or exceeding the designated nominal power in performance tests are dispatched. The power tolerance ranges between -0 Wp and +5 Wp.
High Quality Textured Glass
Optimized surface structure: The proprietary surface coatings and granular texture of the Sunmodule’s front glass create two effects: the reduction of the light reflected from the outside (air-glass interface) and the internal trapping of the light reflected from the solar cells in the module (light-trapping). These two effects combine to make an extremely efficient and high performance PV module.
1000 VDC Validation Tested
The certification to international standards provides additional assurance that the SolarWorld 300 solar panel is suitable for use in systems with greater than 600 Vdc string voltage.
PID Free
Potential induced degradation (PID) is a phenomenon where the power output of a solar module is reduced when exposed to high negative voltage bias between the cells and ground. PID can potentially affect the performance of individual modules as well as the overall power output and efficiency of an entire solar power generating system. SolarWorld Sunmodules have been certified as PID free by 3rd party laboratories.
