Halo UltraGrip™ Technology
The UltraGrip™ seal technology employs a unique combination of foam and mastic to create a flashing system that conforms and adheres to every contour of your composition shingles. This innovative seal fills gaps and shingle step-downs up to 1/8" in height, providing a seamless and watertight barrier.
Multi-Tiered Waterproofing
The HUG® mount features a multi-tiered waterproofing system that ensures superior protection against water intrusion. At its core is the Halo cast-aluminum, raised-perimeter foundation, which surrounds the innovative UltraGrip™ base. This base consists of a foam-backed mastic seal combination.
Rafter & Deck Mounting Options
The HUG® mount offers the flexibility to be installed on either the roof rafters, the roof deck, or both. The custom-engineered RD (rafter-or-deck) Structural Screw is designed to securely anchor the HUG® mount to your roof. Additionally, the RD Structural Screw features an EPDM sealing washer.
